Greg Swartz, President of Swartz Electric started the company in March 2006. His desire to start a company that was based on integrity, honesty, and professionalism drove him to branch out and begin Swartz Electric. Since then, Swartz Electric has grown from just Greg to over 10 team members. The company is divided into Service and Construction sides, with Project Managers over each division.
Swartz Electric is a Colorado Licensed Electrical Contractor authorized to work throughout Colorado. In addition, Swartz Electric is registered with multiple building departments and cities throughout Colorado. Swartz Electric carries umbrella, general, liability, automotive, and workers compensation insurances. Please see our qualifications page for more information.
One of our goals is to be the best electrical contractor in Colorado Springs. We desire to have our company as the most sought after company for service projects and construction projects, and we desire to have the best team members work with us. In short, we want you to be so impressed with our work that you are willing to refer your closest friend and dearest relative.
Our end goal is to build a company that gives back to the community. Not just locally, but globally. We want to give back to groups that have a need. Currently 2 members of the team perform missions work in Mexico each year and build houses for the needy, paint, re-roof, and participate in VBS teaching.

Brad has over 7 years experience providing high quality electrical installations, troubleshooting, and ground up electrical work. He is committed to organizational excellence and is a responsible team builder with diverse leadership experience. Brad takes pride and ownership in his work, while his personal ethics and integrity are beyond reproach. Brad excels at LED retrofits, hot tub installations, and panel changeouts.
Robert Stanley – Service

Robert has over 15 years as an electrician, has trained over 300 electrical apprentices while teaching at the Independent Electrical Contractor school here in Colorado Springs, and extensive design and layout experience. Robert excels in troubleshooting environments, solar installation, and lighting relay system repairs.
Diane Windesheim –

Diane handles Swartz Electric’s day to day office demands. With over 20 years of experience, she works with contractors directly, and deals with the Swartz Project Managers. Diane has worked in fast paced small business in larger corporate environments in the engineering and recruiting industries. Her knowledge and experience has been managing a small office, maintain corporate client and candidate relationships, assisting in human resource functions, accounting and payroll, internet based research and project managing.

Greg started Swartz Electric, and is working tirelessly in developing Swartz Electric to follow the ideals of integrity, honesty, and professionalism. Greg started working with electrical in 1991 in the Marine Corps. He was an Electrical Equipment Repair Specialist and an Electrician. In 2000, Greg joined the civilian ranks and started working in Colorado. In 2001, he became a Colorado Licensed Journeyman Electrician, and in 2005 he became a Colorado Licensed Master Electrician. In 2006, Greg petitioned the state of Colorado and became a Colorado Licensed Electrical Contractor and started Swartz Electric. Greg has performed electrical installations in the states of North Carolina, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado; and in the countries of Kuwait, Thailand, Japan, and Mexico. In 2008, after many years study, Greg completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. In addition, Greg is a practicing Christian, and desires Swartz Electric to bear the Fruit of the Spirit found in the Bible: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness, and Self-Control. Greg is happily married to Kim for 14 years. They have 4 beautiful children. Greg is active in his church and teaches AWANA and co-facilitates a men’s Bible study.
